Happy B-day!

Wednesday, April 9th, 2008

I really like giving guys watches as gifts.  My little sister asked me what she should get her boyfriend for his birthday and my first reaction was a Patek Perpetual watch.  Of course, those are too nice for someone her age.  But, I just thought that it was funny that that was the first thing to come to mind.  If I could, I would get one for my grandfather’s birthday.  He deserves something really nice like that.

Treat Yourself

Tuesday, December 18th, 2007

All I want for Christmas is a LCD TV.    I’m starting a TV fund.  If you would like to donate to it go to…no, I’m just kidding. Seriously though, the picture on these things is amazing.   It would be an awesome Christmas present whether for someone special or just to treat yourself.  I’m definitely considering the latter.

Father Time

Saturday, November 24th, 2007

I still believe that a watch is always a good gift for a guy.  Women may have no sense of direction, but men have no sense of time.  They lose track of it quickly.  What better than an Audemars Piguet watch?  This way, they’ll have no excuse for being late to your mother’s holiday dinners.  Of course, they’ll also make sure to tell you when it’s time to stop talking and leave.  ; )

Jewerly gifts

Saturday, November 24th, 2007

It seems every year, I always find some sort of jewerly in my stocking.  I usually don’t see this as a small gift, because jewerly can be expensive.  Well, my step mom buys wholesale fashion jewelry for her friends and family.  She actually has most of her Christmas shopping done before November even comes around.  I think I need to take a page out of her book.

Women’s gifts

Saturday, November 24th, 2007

Christmas is coming, and everyone is on the look out for great deals and the perfect gifts.  You can never go wrong with designer inspired jewelry for your wife, mother, or girlfriend.  Or, in my case, my boyfriends mother and sisters.  I want to be sure that I make a good impression on them.  I need to find something fashionable and practical.  After all, they are the closest women in his life.

Turker Day!

Saturday, November 24th, 2007

I definitely ate my share of food yesterday.  Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays of the year.  I love turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, corn, and etc.  My aunt was the hostess this year and found herself a little embarrassed. First, she was trying to make sweet potatoes with marshmellows on top.  Well, she left them in the oven too long and the marshmellows caught on fire!  Then as we were sitting down to eat, she realized that she didn’t have salt shakers out.  The only ones she had were a wedding gift and quite outdated.  I think salt shakers could make a good gift, if the right ones were picked out.  It’s all about taste though

Moisturize and Cleanse

Saturday, November 24th, 2007

I’ve been thinking about getting my mom some perfume or lotions for Christmas.  I found this new line of anti-aging creams and lotions.  Apparently, skinceuticals has been developing some of the finest cosmeceutical products since 1997.  I found out that they actually have pharmaceutical grade active ingredients that are then mixed with lotions and serums.  It’s top of the line stuff.  There are products for cleansing and toning, sun protection, moisturizing and so on.  It seems worth looking into.

The “it” item

Saturday, November 24th, 2007

Have you ever seen something on tv but then forget the important information to getting it and never see it again.  Well, there is a sight that shows items as seen on tv.  You can find that perfect gift, the “it” item you’ve been looking for.  Or, if you just don’t remember what it was, try this sight.  You might find it and more!  You’ll never know if you don’t look around.

It’s a Zoo in Here

Tuesday, October 16th, 2007

I was just discussing getting a gift for my niece and nephew before I fly out there.  Rumor has it that I can’t go wrong with animal masks.  As long as I get them animals they like, I’m in the clear.  I think they might actually like a gift like that.  I remember a few years ago, my twin cousins were in a stage where they pretended to be puppies.  They would play that game for hours on end.  I’ll have to think about it…

Toys = Fun

Tuesday, October 16th, 2007

Is it sad that I love playing with children’s toys?  I’m going to see my niece and nephew this week and really excited.  Little kids are so much fun.  They are always surprising me with their creativity and intelligence.  I also think all the new toys that teach kids are amazing.  It’s the perfect combo of fun and learning.  I’m debating whether or not I should bring them a gift when I see them….
