Time for a Vacay?

Monday, April 7th, 2008

I just found the coolest thing for vacations.  You know all the people that can afford to have summer homes and a normal house?  Well, for the people that can’t afford to have a home that they only live in a couple months, have you ever thought about fractional ownership?  You could own a piece of a winter paradise with the great perks of a five star resort!

Spring Break

Monday, February 25th, 2008

I would really love to go somewhere for Spring Break.  This is my junior year in college and I don’t feel like I’ve ever had a a “real” spring break.  I’ve found out that Vegas hotels really aren’t that expensive.  If you look into the ones off of the main strip, the prices drop dramatically.  Also, just going in an off season makes way to a lot of great deals.  There is also so much to see and do in Las Vegas that you’ll never get board.

Family Vacation

Tuesday, January 8th, 2008

This is kind of continued from the previous entry.  My dad wants to take everyone to SeaWorld or something of that nature.  I still vote for going on a cruises.  What’s better than relaxing in the sun, letting other people wait on you, and having different options for entertainment if you didn’t want to do the same thing as everyone else?  It all sounds good to me.  I could lay out and read a book while Linda and Jessica pack their days full of what ever.

Silver Dollar City

Tuesday, January 8th, 2008

My dad is planning a vacation for the whole family this summer.  It made me start thinking about one of my favorite vacations.  We went to Branson Missouri.  We had a great time!  We spent a day at Silver Dollar City and a water park.  My sister wanted to go to the Ripley’s Believe it or Not Museum, my dad caught up with one of his old friends that lives there, and there were all kinds of shows to go see.  I would be willing to go back there any time.

Orlando!

Saturday, November 24th, 2007

It’s finally starting to get cold.  I find myself bundling up more and more each day.  Unfortunately, it’s just getting started.  A month from now when we’re all snowed in, I’m going to wish I was down at an Orlando vacation home.  I think is was a high in the thirties here today.  There was a high around eighty down in Florida.  Yeah, now that’s what I’m talking about!  I like being warm.  I’m sure the older I get, the more I’ll want to be in a warmer climate too.
